Many of my patients appear successful and composed on the outside. They are high-achieving professionals, caregivers, and leaders who carry responsibility well and are often the steady person others rely on. Yet beneath that strength is often exhaustion. They struggle with persistent anxiety, perfectionism that feels more like pressure than pride, difficulty focusing or initiating tasks, burnout that rest does not fix, or depression that presents as irritability, heaviness, or disconnection rather than obvious withdrawal. Too often, they have been told they are “just stressed” because they are still functioning.
As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with almost 10 years of experience in mental health care, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults ages 18 to 64. I specialize in working with high-performing individuals and patients from marginalized communities who are seeking care that is both clinically rigorous and culturally informed. I am also perinatal mental health certified. I see women who are starting family planning, who are pregnant and postpartum. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and relational rather than transactional. Together, we look beyond surface-level symptoms to understand the full picture, including neurobiology, life stressors, cultural context, and past experiences, and we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication, psychoeducation, and supportive therapeutic interventions.
My goal is to help you move from wondering why you do not feel fine even though you believe you should, to feeling clear, supported, and confident in your mental health care. If you are considering taking the next step, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to determine whether we are a good fit. I would be honored to support you or a member of your family in receiving the care needed to feel better and live with greater clarity and ease.

More About Me
Outside of my work, I value balance, joy, and intentional rest. I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with family, cooking, trying out new Pilates workouts, and unwinding with a good book or reality TV show. I appreciate both exploring new experiences and embracing quiet moments at home.
